Lyle “Duke” Pasket
Lyle “Duke” Pasket served aboard the USS Indianapolis as an aviation storekeeper. He saw the islands of Tinian and the Philippines. He survived the sinking of the USS Indianapolis and the many shark attacks by linking in an arm-to-arm circle formation with his ship mates. After nearly six days in the water he was rescued.
